Small Group

Guidelines

1.  Please keep your sharing focused on your own thoughts and feelings. Limit your sharing to 3-5 minutes to allow others time to share.

2.  There is NO cross talk. Cross talk is when two individuals engage in conversation excluding all others. Each person is free to express his or her feelings without interruptions.

3.  We are not counselors, therefore we are here to support one another, not “FIX” one another.

4.  Anonymity and confidentiality are basic requirements. What is shared in the group stays in the group. Who you see here, and what you hear here, stays here.

5.  Offensive language has no place in a Christ-centered recovery group.

6.  If you have drugs or paraphernalia on you, we ask that you take it out and leave it, then return because we want you here.

7.  If you have been drinking or using drugs, or if you’re currently participating in a medical detox program, we ask that you focus on listening rather than talking. We want you to know you are the most important person here because we can only keep what we have by giving it away.

8.  Please turn off your cell phones and please pick up after yourselves.
